Marengo, training camp for young reenactors

With the greeting of the Managing Director Maurizio Sciaudone, ended the two-day course for young reenactors of SERN – European School Napoleonic Reenactors, arrived in Marengo on Friday evening.
On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 August the Gendarmerie took care of the instruction of the Reevocatori from different parts of Italy, at the initiative of Gendarme Daniel and Gen. Andrea Puleo who runs the school.
Says Maurizio Sciaudone. “It is a pleasure to have in Marengo young reenactors who interpret the tradition of the Napoleonic re-enactment and honour our historic site with their commitment. In addition to having animated the museum rooms, and someone has seen them for the first time, there were days in which they were taught the maneuvers to be able to be part of the great moments that are being studied, especially for next year. The Reenactors throughout the year live the residence of Villa Delavo, the Courtyard of Honor and the Auditorium as a normal moment where to find themselves in the spirit of men always engaged to discover new aspects of history. In the coming weeks, the Park will be reorganised and embellished to allow for new interpretative moments in 2025.”
