Colonel Massimiliano Rocco at the Marengo cultural centre

Colonel Massimiliano Rocco (Provincial Commander Arma dei Carabinieri Alessandria) was welcomed at the Marengo Museum by the curator Efrem Bovo (Marengo Complex), Simonetta Marcialis (Institutional PR for the Union of European Journalists and Communicators – Ujce), the Ujce staff (Dr Alberto Giambelli, the student Ilaria Mattavelli, the journalist Gianluca Guglielmero). The activity set up to convey the epic story and persuade the community to reproduce the virtuous practices was illustrated to the superior officer entertained at the foyer and auditorium. The unpublished visit continued at the Villa Delavo: the Colonel was attracted by the relics transferred from the National Historical Museum of Artillery (Turin) to describe the military glory, diplomacy and splendor of the Napoleonic victories. The itinerary by Ujce has been set up to admire four white arms (the sword, the saber for the main drum, two spears), eight flint-stone weapons (the rifle for the dragon and the model for the infantry, two rifles for the cavalry, two pistols)three artillery pieces (Expert that is the howitzer Gribevaud from 6”, the mortar Valliere from 8”’, the model of piece from 8”), six prints (from the uniforms to the French pieces and the Sardinian-Piedmontese triumph to the battle on the hill of Assietta). The removal of priceless finds was favored by the mediation last year by the National Historical Museum of Artillery managed by Lieutenant Colonel Gerardo Valerio Demo and administered by the First Lieutenant Enrico Galletti to Marshal (Italian Army) Maurizio Sciaudone (Managing Director of Polo di Marengo – Provincia di Alessandria).
