We have fallen back into a drama that we did not think could be fearfully repeated. We have no
reason to find each other except to reflect on what happened. We will bear witness to ten years
dedicated to the fight against the culture that kills young people before any disaster. With the
Cuniolo Institute we have made over a thousand alcohol tests, passed eight thousand signatures
sent to the Ministers twenty years ago, drawn up the decalogue on road safety. We went to
different areas of Italy to testify that the greatest enemy is the “super ego” fed every day and that
self-determination grows dramatically in the car. The Hub of Marengo adheres to the mourning of
Alexandria and cancels any event already scheduled from Thursday 15 to Sunday 19 to express the
deepest condolences to families affected by the disaster and the community of Spinetta Marengo.
