Marengo combines culture with our vast area. Napoleon was the author of two literary works: the pamphlet “Le souper de Beaucaire” (1793) and the romantic novel “Clisson et Eugénie” (1795). The gloss “Saint Elena, a small island”, written by the young man strengthens the motto “The man of letters is someone who knows and makes a profession of knowledge” written by the poet Alberto Savinio (Athens, 25 August 1891 – Rome, 5 May 1952).
The Honorary Committee extended to the President Enrico Bussalino (Province of Alessandria) and the provincial delegate Maurizio Sciaudone (Polo di Marengo) is expected at the award ceremony organized by the Union of European Journalists and Communicators (Ujce), editions Sisifo and promoted by the foundation Cassa di Risparmio di Alessandria.
